We 💙 Kefalonia

Kefalonia has a special place in the heart of many tourists. By far one of the most unspoiled of Greece’s islands, it is still possible to find quiet beaches and remote villages.

The village of Aghia Ephimia, where Paradise Beach Taverna is located, is across the bay from the village of Sami where the film Captain Corelli’s Mandolin was made, starring Nicholas Cage, Penelope Cruz and John Hurt.

Paradise Beach Taverna was so popular with the film cast and crew that they more or less adopted it as their film canteen, eating there night after night.
